Prospectus is proud to be working with a national charity that is having an astoundingly positive impact on tackling issues surrounding the rights of refugees and people seeking asylum in the UK. The charity is now seeking a dedicated and motivated Advocacy Manager to play a vital role and act as an active member within their Campaigns Team.

Reporting to the Head of Campaigns, you will coordinate and lead the charity's advocacy strategy for individual campaigns, ensuring they are developed and delivered while working in collaboration with the Policy and Research Manager, Senior Parliamentary Officer and Chief Executive. Your execution of these campaigns will be essential in supporting their overall impact, ensuring they are successful in recruiting and mobilising supporters. You will be responsible for engaging with key individuals in parliament and government while also forming crucial political alliances and relationships with a consortium of organisations with similar interests, as well as representing the charity externally with MPs and other senior parliamentarians.

The successful candidate will be a confident and driven individual with demonstrable experience of nurturing strategic stakeholder relationships and engaging successfully in parliamentary lobbying and policy advocacy. You will be a keen researcher and will ideally have a good knowledge of the structures, processes and key institutions within tin the UK's asylum system. An insight into the experience of refugees is desirable however not acceptable.
