We have over 30,000 young people who are members of the ten open Youth Zones, with the next phase of openings to include three Youth Zones in London and two in the North West.

The Role

You will ensure the network of Youth Zones are kept fully abreast of national and regional policy and government priorities and will play a crucial role in developing the role of the OnSide Network in influencing policy and service design, guiding the network of Youth Zones to take advantage of emerging opportunities and helping to shape the supporting and growing evidence base of the impact of a Youth Zone

The Person

You will have a track record in policy and public affairs with the ability to work in an autonomous fashion, taking a leading role in guiding the organisation. It is key that you have experience of engaging directly with government and policy makers, of researching, analysing and communicating information about complex issues to a wide range of audiences with the ability to display strong political acumen at all times, as well as demonstrating a broad understanding of the policy issues affecting young people. You must be passionate about the aims and mission of OnSide!
