ABOUT US
We’re a not-for-profit with one goal: to create movements that are progressive, hopeful and powerful, to inspire people to act on the most pressing issues of our time. We bring together bold creative, communications and organising to run integrated end-to-end campaigns.
We campaign with humility, integrity and passion for the causes we work on.
We’re proud that our work has played a crucial role in two General Elections - for Caroline Lucas’ 2015 winning re-election campaign, and at the 2017 General Election in the two most effective third-party campaigns against School Cuts and for a Progressive Alliance.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
We are looking for a Campaigner to join our small, tight-knit team. We are really looking for somebody that has a passion for the work and an interest in building a progressive, people-powered politics.
Campaigning can get pretty hectic. Sometimes we have to turn out entire campaigns in a matter of hours to seize on a political moment. We’re always pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve in order to win campaigns. We need someone with initiative that picks things up quickly, but we’re also a close team and support each other every day.
In this role, you will:
- Lead brainstorms with the team to generate ideas for creative concepts, social graphics, actions and rapid response opportunities based on political moments;
- Work side-by-side with the design team to produce provoking content for digital, print and ads;
- Develop engaging posts and activity on the social media channels we manage for clients and collaborators;
- Use digital campaigning platforms to set-up emails, actions, and supporter journeys that mobilise people to act;
- Production of campaign actions eg. organising petition hand-ins, rallies, creative stunts.
- Supporting day-to-day administration of campaigns, including keeping supporter, press and advocacy databases up-to-date, social media reporting, organising travel and equipment as needed.
- Community organising: working with grassroots campaigners to develop leaders and spokespeople for the causes we champion.
