Job Details

In the space of a few years, the Knowledge Quarter has grown rapidly in size from an initial 35 partners to over 90 academic, cultural, research, scientific and media organisations. As we grow our operations, we’re looking for a proactive self-starter to join our small team and provide support for our growing events program.

The Events Intern will support the scheduling and organisation of our popular events programme, including private views, breakfast discussions and roundtables, as well as our annual conference and festival. This is an excellent opportunity to gain real-world, varied and engaging paid experience with some of the most prestigious organisations in the world. As part of your internship, the Knowledge Quarter will support your development needs and tailor parts of the role to your interests.

You don’t need to have direct experience in events – we’re looking for individuals who want to learn and develop in one of the most exciting environments available.

This is a part-time, fixed-term position for six months with the possibility for extension. The role will be based in our offices in the British Library, but some remote working may be required from time to time.

If you are excited by the idea of joining one of London’s most interesting innovation clusters, then the full job description and details of how to apply can be downloaded on our website here:  http://www.knowledgequarter.london/hiring-events-intern-2018/
