Feeding Britain is seeking to recruit an Operations Manager who is eager to play a key role in the development, implementation, and extension of the charity’s work to prevent and relieve hunger.

The Operations Manager will support each of the local anti-hunger coalitions that has been set up by Feeding Britain, both to undertake co-ordinated action and to provide evidence on those forces that are shaping the extent and severity of poverty in our country. These coalitions consist of local charities, churches, and community projects, as well as local authorities, businesses and other organisations who share Feeding Britain’s objective of protecting people from chronic poverty and destitution.

Feeding Britain’s support for each local anti-hunger coalition takes the form of helping to identify, co-ordinate and fund activities that are proven to raise the living standards of people on low incomes, both through the direct provision of meals with dignity, as well as through changes in policy at both the national and local level. 

Feeding Britain is currently focused on strengthening the connections within and between each local anti-hunger coalition, by encouraging each partner organisation to create, share and replicate examples of best practice and support their peers across the country. 

As well as offering direct support to each local anti-hunger coalition, the Operations Manager will collect, document, and share information and examples of best practice across the network, and regularly communicate the impact of Feeding Britain’s work.
