We are looking for an experienced Policy Manager to join our award-winning Policy & Public Affairs team. Based in our London office, the Policy Manager will lead on growing the evidence-base that underpins our campaigning and public affairs activity in England and play a leading role in developing our policy positions and policy reports.

We are looking for someone with experience in policy research and a strong track record of delivering accurate and impactful written materials. A background in palliative and end of life care is not essential, but an excellent understanding of public policy development is required. Experience in reaching influencers through social media is desirable.

The Policy Manager roles reports to the Head of Policy & Public Affairs, England, but will also work with the Director of Policy & Public Affairs to support our UK-wide activity.

Marie Curie is the UK’s leading charity for terminal illness. We:

• provide care and support directly to people affected by terminal illness;
• fund and undertake research into improving care and quality of life for people who are dying with a terminal illness and the people who care for them;
• campaign to ensure that people with a terminal illness are able to live as well as possible until they die, regardless of their personal circumstances or diagnosis.
