The TaxPayers' Alliance, Britain's independent grassroots campaign for lower taxes and less government waste, is seeking to recruit a Digital Campaign Manager. The role will involve managing our online presence, including preparing content for, and overseeing, our popular social media channels, and managing our website.
Key Duties
• Running TPA social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube), to ensure our online presence is continually and consistently updated with new content
• Producing high quality videos/graphics to communicate our message online
• Editing video, written content and images for publication
• Increasing social media following and reach
• Regularly updating and editing the website, including during busy periods, involving rapid media responses
• Overseeing the uploading of content by other members of staff to the website
• Handling issues with the server-side aspects of the website, procuring external assistance as required
• Participating in grassroots activities, including travelling across the UK, where required
The successful candidate should have the following qualities and abilities:
Essential:
• Understanding of, a sympathy for, and a desire to promote the TPA's aims and values
• Demonstrable passion for campaigning
• Proven experience with video production and graphic design
• Ability and commitment to work to often challenging deadlines
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and InDesign
• Proven experience and competence in the HTML and CSS programming languages, particularly while handling the front-end side of website management
• Proficiency with G-Suite and Google docs/sheets
Desirable:
• Previous experience using the NationBuilder platform
• Previous experience of managing an organisational social media presence
• Previous experience of working, even in a volunteer capacity, for a campaign
• Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, etc
