This role is responsible for leading and overseeing the operations, finance and commercial functions of the organisation, including planning for when open to the public.

Role: Development Director
Hours: 37/week
Duration: Fixed term for two years, with the possibility that role will be extended/ made permanent

The Development Director will lead the development and fundraising function of UKHML, creating a strategy for fundraising for both capital works and ongoing operations. The key objective of the role is to ensure that UKHML is financially sustainable in the long-term. The post holder will coordinate the creation of the full business case, apply for and manage grants and awards and work closely with an independent charity to support its campaign for major donations.
