2 days per week (14 hours) - One year and five months fixed-term contract

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive Development Worker to join our friendly WOW project team, funded by the Big Lottery. The project provides a holistic training and into work programme for women in south Westminster, and neighboring areas, particularly those from Muslim communities, particularly Arabic speaking and Bangladeshi backgrounds.

The Development Worker will support women who want to start and establish their own business and explore self-employment on a one to one basis. You should also be skilled in helping participants write CVs, identify job vacancies and prepare for job interviews.

The Abbey Community Association is a charity operating out of a large community centre and hub in the heart of south Westminster, bringing together local people and organisations to address local community needs.
