The Royal Economic Society is looking for a creative and well organised communicator to help raise the profile of the Society’s work to a wider audience.
As one of the oldest and most prestigious economic associations in the world, the Society wishes to play a greater role in the public understanding of economics and its applications. We want to build on our existing communication activity to enhance the credibility and visibility of economics.
With experience of dealing with the media, developing multimedia content and managing social media channels, you will support the Communications and Engagement Manager to enhance the Society’s engagement with the media and the public.
There will be a particular focus on distilling complex economic ideas into engaging copy for the media and other audiences. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills to produce eye catching videos and photographs.
