London based, 35 hours per week,

We are looking for a Project Officer to be a key member of the IASSN team working with the wider Information, Advice and Support Programme to support and develop SEND Information, Advice and Support Services across England.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter whose role will be to plan and deliver identified elements of projects and programmes to ensure IASS are able to provide a high quality service to children, young people and their parents on education, health and social care.

Excellent project management and communication skills are essential for this role as are strong administrative, IT and writing skills along with experience of supporting projects and managing training events. You need to be passionate about what you do, have an interest in SEND enjoy working in a fast paced environment and be comfortable working both independently, with team members and with others in our partner organisations.

A commitment to the rights of disabled children and young people, those with SEN and their parents is essential.
