Responsibilities and Requirements

Based in The Shard, London Bridge, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing a first rate political intelligence service to your own portfolio of clients, specialising in food, agriculture and animal policy.

You will need an excellent understanding of parliamentary procedure and government policy, and some relevant experience.

You will have a keen interest in politics and policy, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to analyse large amounts of information in a rapidly changing political environment. You need to be comfortable working at a fast pace, within tight deadlines. And you need to be a great team player, able to demonstrate initiative and commercial awareness.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining a first rate service to clients, and the provision of timely and high quality political insight and research. You will also contribute to the development of our business through the delivery of successful trial periods with prospective clients.
You will work to become a respected authority within the industry on all issues relating to your specialist policy area and key stakeholders, with opportunity to contribute to Dods' editorial publications.
