West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Commissioning Officer to join our dynamic team. Our commissioning requirements are diverse and include a broad range of activities to assist in preventing crime across the West Midlands.

We are looking for an experienced and well-motivated Commissioning Officer to lead on a range of commissioning projects and policy areas while providing advice to the Police and Crime Commissioner, colleagues and partners on designated portfolios. This role is well suited to an individual who wants to make a difference to society, work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and has excellent research, analytical and communication skills. Prospective candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to prioritise their own workload in accordance with ever changing demands, meet deadlines, write detailed reports and have the confidence and ability to make sound judgements. The ability to work with partners and providers of services is also key.
