Job Details

The ComRes graduate scheme is innovative and exciting – we offer a modular approach allowing you to work across large parts of our business over 18 months, alongside some very talented people. If successful you will undertake a comprehensive, robust training programme to equip you with the skills you need to excel in your role.

Over those 18 months we are committed to your development, and expect the same level of commitment in return. At the end of 18 months, our hope and expectation is that you will advance into a permanent specialist role, from which – depending on your ambition - there will be scope for significant further advancement.

We are looking for a small number of recent graduates who want to bring to ComRes their own personalities and the skills they have developed to date, who want to learn and are eager to push themselves, and who are passionate, enthusiastic, committed and looking to succeed. We are looking for people who are interested in politics and public policy, who understand business, communicate well, and want to help our customers make a difference in the sectors that they operate in, as well as enjoying handling data and research.

THIS ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

O Regular job rotations (currently four) providing you with the opportunity and flexibility to gain exposure within each area of the ComRes business areas. This allows you to explore where your interests and abilities lie - from helping to pitch a new idea to an important media client, to undertaking research with a pharmaceutical company, to helping manage our complex fieldwork project portfolio, to presenting the findings and recommendations to a major charity, to co-hosting a breakfast event with leading religious figures.
o An ongoing detailed training programme, covering research methodologies, questionnaire design, proposal writing, project management, finance and costing, business development, public affairs, corporate communications and stakeholder engagement.
o In addition to your manager, a mentor (an experienced consultant) to help you acclimatise to working life, and ensure you develop as fast as you are able.
o Involvement in the company, with regular access to the Chairman and senior team, and as much empowerment and responsibility as you feel ready to take.

Closing Date: 8 March 2019

Interview/Start Dates

Interviews will take place in May/June 2019

Successful candidates start their rotations in September 2019.
