This paid internship role will sit within Peace Direct’s Policy and Research team and will for three days a week focus on supporting the Tomorrow’s Peacebuilders awards. Tomorrow’s Peacebuilders is Peace Direct’s annual award for local peacebuilding and offers international recognition for grassroots peace activists in conflict-affected countries worldwide. The intern’s role will include supporting with communicating with entrants, as well as helping with the promotion, general administration and selection of the awards. Working on the Tomorrow's Peacebuilders awards is an excellent way to learn more about peacebuilding initiatives from all over the world.

The intern role will also support with ad hoc research requests and for 2 days a week the intern will have the opportunity to support other departments with their work, such as completing fundraising applications and reporting for trust and foundations who support our work and/or researching UK and international funding opportunities for Peace Direct’s work and to carry out with ad hoc research to directly inform and support Peace Direct’s International Programmes. This will allow the intern to get to learn about a broad range of different workstreams within Peace Direct.
