The Whitehouse Consultancy is an award-winning communications agency with decades of experience in public affairs, press and media relations, stakeholder engagement, crisis communications and training.

We support long-term business and policy objectives; and run high-profile campaigns for clients in the private, public and charitable sectors that influence public opinion, impact policy, legislation and regulation and build support among key opinion formers and decision makers. We have offices in London and Brussels covering our clients’ communication needs at the local, national and European level.

We are now recruiting an Intern to provide support to our office based near London Bridge.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a keen interest in politics and public affairs to gain an insight into work in a consultancy environment.

The internship will provide the successful candidate with a thorough understanding of Parliamentary processes, including legislative work, as well as research, campaigning and public affairs techniques. We pay all our interns the London Living Wage and the majority go on to secure full-time jobs in public affairs.

Requirements:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject;
- Able to demonstrate a strong interest and some experience in politics and public affairs;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- A good team player, willing to contribute at every level.

Interview/Start Dates

Candidates will be interviewed on a rolling basis and we may decide to appoint before the closing date should an excellent candidate be identified. Therefore early applications are encouraged.
