Hours: 22.5 hours per week
We, the World Hepatitis Alliance, are looking for a highly motivated and creative Communications & Campaigns Intern to support on a range of activities including managing and growing several social media platforms, sourcing ideas and producing content for newsletters, blogs and websites and assisting with campaign dissemination. The ideal fit for our team will be a proactive and creative individual who is self-motivated, organised and committed with good attention to detail. This is the perfect role for a recent graduate looking to pursue a career in communications and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to lead on specific projects.
Main duties and responsibilities
• Managing social media platforms and creating relevant and engaging content, including graphics and videos
• Collecting and analysing data from website analytics, email marketing reports and social media metrics
• Managing website community page, sourcing ideas for content, liaising with contributors, managing image gallery and producing content
• Writing, editing and proofing content for e-marketing, blogs, newsletters and case studies
• Assisting with campaign dissemination
Person Specification
Essential
• Educated to degree level;
• Experience working in a marketing/PR/communications environment;
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal;
• Understanding of producing online content;
• Passion for social media;
• Experience managing a brand online;
• Able to think creatively and input own ideas;
• Keen eye for a story;
• Computer literate – must have good working knowledge of Excel and Word;
• Good attention to detail and analytical skills;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Good organisational skills with an ability to multi-task, lead on certain areas and meet tight deadlines;
• Proactive self-starter;
• Fast learner;
Desirable
• Knowledge of design and photo editing software;
• Knowledge of website development and content management systems;
• Knowledge of social media management tools;
• Experience running paid social media advertising campaigns;
• Knowledge of e-marketing tools;
• Interested in global health issues;
• Knowledge of viral hepatitis.

Interview/Start Dates
Closing time – 5pm . Interviews will be held week commencing 1st April 2019. (We may appoint before the closing date if a suitable candidate applies).
