Job Details

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Intern to join the NSPCC’s High-Value Fundraising Team supporting both the London and South East Individual Major Donors fundraising team and our Engagement & Stewardship team.

The Individual Major Donors team is responsible for seeking donations from £5,000 to £1m+ to help us reach our annual income target of £1.4million. We build strong relationships with existing donors and new prospects, which our Engagement & Stewardship team help us, and the broader Fundraising directorate, to do through exclusive events, service visits and bespoke pieces of stewardship.

As a Stewardship Intern, you will support relationships with key individual stakeholders and prospects, producing inspiring written material to thank and engage our supporters. The work is very wide ranging; you will be working collaboratively with Fundraisers, co-ordinate a variety of fundraising projects and events as well as supporting with copy writing. The work you will help to produce will have a direct effect on the NSPCC’s ability to raise significant funds to protect children in the UK.

The successful candidate will be highly proactive with a 'can do' attitude and a willingness to be flexible with tasks to support the wider team. You will need to consistently work collaboratively with other teams and departments, have excellent interpersonal skills and a well organised approach to completing key tasks. This role is responsible for providing excellent administrative support, to enable the delivery of critical income from the Major Giving audience.

This position will be based in our London office in Weston House and paid at the London living wage.
