We are looking for a talented and committed individual to fill a vacancy as a Research Executive.

The position of Research Executive is a key part of the research team, involved in all aspects of the research process with an opportunity to help design and run fascinating research projects for clients. The successful candidate will contribute to major client studies as well as learn about what makes for effective communications. There are good opportunities for progression through exposure to new and varied challenges, with mentoring and training by more senior team members.

The role will suit a graduate with an interest in market research or someone who has experience of working in research previously.

Skills and Experience

• Good university degree
• Good IT skills in data handling and analysis as well as communication and presentation of findings e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Good organisational skills – project management experience is useful, attention to detail vital
• Numerate and comfortable dealing with complex projects and both quantitative and qualitative data sources
• Ideally some experience working in market research or a related field (although full training will be provided)
• A strong interest in how effective communications work

The role requires candidates who are committed, hard-working, self-motivated and enjoy problem-solving. Given that we don’t expect candidates to know everything about research when they join, a willingness to learn is key. As clients often require answers quickly on queries that may not directly relate to research, a willingness to work flexibly and ability to apply skills across a variety of tasks is also important.
