Health and local government organisations in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire are working collaboratively under the banner, Healthier Together, to deliver the goals set out in the NHS Long Term Plan, for improvement in the health and wellbeing of the local population, in the availability and quality of care and in the use of financial resources.

This Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) now requires an exceptional Programme Director to drive forward the implementation of its change priorities and the next phase of its development towards integrated care system status.

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of the programme, overseeing the programme team and working closely with the STP Co-Executive Leads and senior stakeholders, in an uncertain and politically sensitive environment. You will ensure that the implementation programme is focussed, robust and achievable, that it is underpinned by wide public and staff participation and engagement and that it meets its responsibilities inside the applicable regulatory frameworks.

You will have a significant track record of leading large, complex change programmes in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders. You will have senior experience of working within the health, social care or similar sectors, or be able to demonstrate transferable skills.
