The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) exists to connect, develop, promote and support Parliamentarians and their staff to identify benchmarks of good governance and the implementation of the enduring values of the Commonwealth. The CPA collaborates with Parliaments and other organisations, including the intergovernmental community, to achieve its Statement of Purpose.

CPA activities focus on the Commonwealth’s commitment to its fundamental political values, including: just and honest government, the alleviation of poverty, fundamental human rights, international peace and order, global economic development, the rule of law, equal rights and representation for all citizens of both genders, the separation of powers among the three branches of government and the right to participate in free and democratic political processes.

We currently have the following vacancies at our CPA Secretariat based in London:

We are looking for a, motivated, hard-working and organised individual who is committed to the aims of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association.

Reporting to the Programmes Manager, this position requires a motivated, hard-working and organised individual who will provide administrative support in the delivery of series of programmes/events for the CPA membership. The post holder will ensure the smooth, timely and cost-effective administration of allocated conferences, events and meetings duties.

You will need to have attention to detail, excellent planning and organising skills, an ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and work as a team player.
