The Parliamentary Adviser Unit (PAU) is a dynamic, exciting and fast paced team of six Advisers working to support and promote the efforts of Liberal Democrat Parliamentarians in both the House of Commons and House of Lords.
The Economy Adviser will lead in developing the Party's approach to issues around the economy, business, taxation and public spending. They will work closely with the Party Leader, the principal economics and business spokespeople, and other parliamentarians and Party staff, to offer advice on policy, communications and campaigns.
The Adviser will build relationships with relevant external advocacy and campaign groups to help further the aims and political objectives of the Liberal Democrats and will identify and engage with other key external stakeholders and the media.
