This is an key and exciting role within our organisation. You will lead the Business Development team and have overall strategic and operational responsibility for the delivery of new products and services. You will ensure the organisation has the market information it needs to meet our mission effectively. This role will be offered on a 6 month fixed term contract.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

  • A strong commitment to education, the non-profit sector and raising the aspirations, achievements and life chances of all children
  • Previous experience managing multiple, competing demands
  • Demonstrated experience in a previous role using own initiative and working with high levels of autonomy
  • Ability to seek and clarify detail
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure work is completed to a high standard and to a deadline
  • Ability to clearly explain procedures
  • Ability to manage sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to translate that into effective recommendations
  • Strong conceptual thinker, with a flexible and creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple levels in a matrix organisation, working in a fast-moving environment, adapting to change and managing a complex brief
  • Effective and confident communicator (verbal and in writing) with individuals at all levels, with the credibility to advise, challenge and hold to account senior stakeholders
