Fast-growing communications agency Higginson Strategy was founded in 2017 to help organisations that do good change the world for the better.
We deploy laser-focused communications strategy to help organisations be the best they can be in a better world.
Higginson works with multi-national blue chips and leading campaigners alike and has offices in London and Chester.
Our work involves running campaigns for charities, campaigning organisations and businesses.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has excellent writing and communications skills to join us as a Senior Account Executive (depending on experience).
You will be highly-organised and self-motivated with a genuine interest in the ability of great communications to change human behaviour for the better. You will have an eye for a story and be able to write with confidence and elegance.
As a Senior Account Executive, you can expect to spend time: Writing engaging thought leadership pieces; Writing hard-hitting press releases; Supplying stories to the media; Creating social content and managing social media accounts; Creating and maintaining media lists; Building strong relationships with international journalists; Organising events; Monitoring and providing reports on the current news agenda; Supporting account managers and directors with client delivery; Assisting in the strategic and laser-focused delivery of client work.

The successful candidate will have: The ability to write carefully-crafted and engaging copy; A demonstrable strong background in communications consultancy or journalism; Ideally one year’s experience working at Account Executive or Senior Account Executive level; Good interpersonal and team working skills; Proficiency in Microsoft software; A proactive work ethic and desire to learn and develop on the job; A bachelor’s degree.
