Job Details
The Electoral Reform Society (ERS) is looking to employ its inaugural Lakeman Fellow on a one-year fixed term contract to join our London office.
The Enid Lakeman Fellowship is a new initiative launched by the ERS as an opportunity to support someone’s career in the democracy campaigning sector.
Thanks to the generous donations of our members and supporters, we have secured funding for a one-year fixed term contract to spend twelve months working within all the different departments of the ERS across our three offices in London, Cardiff and Edinburgh.
We are particularly keen to hear from applicants who would like an opportunity to work in politics who may never have done so otherwise and encourage applications from all backgrounds and all levels of education and experience. It can be hard for many people – both young and old – who have the required drive and skills to get into politics particularly if they lack specific experience, access to the right contacts or political networks. We want to help change that with this position.
Closing Date: 24 April 2019
Interview/Start Dates
Interviews will take place week beginning w/c 29th April in London.
