Too many children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) do not achieve their educational potential. To change this we need your help!

If you are experienced in stakeholder engagement, digital communications, organising events and understand how to communicate with diverse audiences then we want to hear from you.

Whole School SEND is a consortium of schools, organisations and individuals committed to improving outcomes and experiences for children and young people with SEND. Whole School SEND is hosted by nasen, a membership charity committed to helping all individuals with SEND to achieve their full potential.

Communications work is vital for us achieving our aims and we are looking for an enthusiastic and organized individual to support us to increase our reach and engagement across the education sector.

In this role you will support the growth of the Whole School SEND Community of Practice in England to 10,000 schools. This will involve engaging with consortium members, schools, education organizations, and other key influencers to ensure that we can improve things for as many children with SEND as possible.

In return you will have the opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of a multi-million-pound government contract and work with a passionate and dynamic team. You will report to the Whole School SEND Director of Operations and will have the opportunity to get involved with a range of other communications work on a project-by-project basis.

The role is based in central London and will be a full-time fixed term appointment until March 2020.
