Events Manager

This is a busy and wide-ranging role that involves a range of skills from strong organisational ability to working with high-profile stakeholders.
Memorial events are a key focus of the charity’s work. The post holder will need to show significant initiative, be a self-starter and possess a great willingness to learn. They will be required to organise event activities and help identify event opportunities; work with delegates from the education programme who want to pursue events on behalf of the charity; and supporting activities to raise the organisation’s profile at events.

Education Manager

The Education Manager will be responsible for the organisation’s school and educational outreach. This includes encouraging schools across the UK to commemorate Srebrenica Memorial Day by holding school assemblies; training teachers to teach our education packs & lesson plans as part of PSHE class; devising new education materials; partnerships with higher education institutions & academics and encouraging research, collaborations & conference.

Community Engagement & Communications Manager

The Community Engagement and Communications Manager will play a key role delivering the commemorations of the 24th Anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide by working with media, press, ministers and different faiths and other organisations to make a lasting impact and legacy. It will include engaging with new audiences, reaching out to different groups to engage them on the issue of Srebrenica and building national partnerships.

This is a busy and wide-ranging role that involves a range of skills from strong organisational ability to working with high-profile speakers, journalists and community champions.

Funding Bids and Donor Engagement Manager

Remembering Srebrenica requires the Funding Bids and Donor Engagement Manager to work alongside the Chairman to implement the organisation’s fundraising strategy, ensuring new initiatives are taken forward effectively, and will contribute to income growth and longer-term targets. This will be a wide ranging role with significant opportunities working closely with the Chairman and Director to research potential funders and income streams.
