The Centre for Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI) helps to keep the country safe. Our role is to reduce the vulnerability of national infrastructure, from health, finance and transport, to energy, food and water.

Physical Security Advisor
£53,349 - £57,525 (depending on relevant skills and experience)

To make an impact from day one, you’ll need sound technical expertise covering physical or protective security, along with knowledge of CPNI. You’ll also need the communication skills to present technical advice both in person and on paper. It’s crucial that you can explain what’s wrong – and why it needs to change. Your ability to express yourself should come with courage and conviction, as organisations may need persuasion to instigate change. Though you’ll have a robust personal presence, you’ll also have the flexibility to learn and adapt. It’s important you can adjust quickly as threats change and evolve.

Physical Security Specialist (Explosion & Ballistic Protection PM)
£42,654 - £46,021 (depending on relevant skills and experience)

To join us, you’ll need knowledge of how buildings are constructed. Knowledge of dynamic loads and blast/ballistic impact is a nice to have. We’re also looking for a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline. Industry experience is welcome, but it’s not essential. As long as you can manage projects and present complex technical advice, we’ll give you the training and support to help you go far with us.
