At Muktangan Educational Trust, we passionately believe in the transformative power of child-centred, community-based education for under-served communities in India.
We are looking for committed and motivated individuals with established fundraising experience and/or connections in the financial sector to join our baord of trustees. The new trustees will make a significant contribution to our fundraising activities through sharing their expertise and connections and working with us to increase the charity's income and donor base.
We are a small charity run by a board of seven trustees which works to raise funds in the UK to support the work of Muktangan in India. Muktangan provides child-centred, community-based education for disadvantaged children through seven schools within the mainstream system in Mumbai, and teacher training for local people in a dedicated education centre, creating a sustainable model.

The role being advertised is a voluntary one. As such, there are no set hours and responsibilities and you should be free to come and go as you wish.
