Ranil Jayawardena is seeking a highly motivated individual to support his Parliamentary work for North East Hampshire. This role will place you at the heart of the Westminster office and provide invaluable experience.

Duties include:

  • Data entry and analysis;
  • Assisting with constituency projects;
  • Resident surveying;
  • Office administration;
  • Diary management;
  • Organising events;
  • Drafting press releases; and
  • Digital communications

Skill and Values:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Hardworking, flexible, pro-active team player;
  • Strong communication and organisational skills and able to take the initiative;
  • Good IT skills; and
  • A creative side.

Upon appointment you will be required to apply for security clearance, undertaken by the Security Vetting and Pass Office. See Members’ Staff Security Clearance page for further info. MPs generally pay staff in accordance with IPSA guidelines.
