London Green Party is recruiting a Campaign Manager to develop and oversee the implementation of its campaign strategy for the 2020 Mayoral & Assembly Elections. The Green Party finished third at both previous elections in 2016 and 2012, providing a strong base on which to grow and providing an exciting opportunity to help us achieve our best result yet. The post holder will manage a small team of staff and a range of projects across publications, press, fundraising and other elections activities, working closely with the candidate for Mayor and lead Assembly candidates, liaising effectively with Green Party national office staff and local party officers; and reporting to the officers of the London Green Party.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Lead on the development of a comprehensive campaign plan in line with our broader electoral strategy, and its implementation within agreed timelines with a view to increasing vote share on the 2020 London Assembly ballot.
  2. Manage a team of staff and volunteers, liaising with key stakeholders including but not limited to those listed above.
  3. Work within agreed budgets, acting and managing resources effectively in accordance with the Party’s philosophy, and organisational policies & procedures
  4. Effectively monitor and report on progress against strategic plans, providing fair warning of any issues and proposed mitigation strategies
