Job Details

The Centre for the Study of Financial Innovation (CSFI) is an independent, not-for-profit think-tank focused on providing a forum for debate in the financial services sector. Founded in 1993, its goals include identifying new areas of business and flagging areas of danger. There is no ideological agenda, just a belief that frank discussion of the issues that will shape the sector’s future should be good and healthy.

The CSFI holds over a hundred events a year on a broad range of topics (from Brexit to Green Finance and FinTech), as well as commissioning regular research on financial themes. Through its extensive institutional and personal membership, it also provides avenues for networking and communication between the City and Westminster.

We are looking for a funding coordinator to maintain relationships with new and existing sponsors, keeping them up to date with CSFI events and exploring opportunities for developing business. She/he would be responsible for fund-raising, event management, and production of publications. The role also includes general administrative duties of a small, busy office, as well as working on ad hoc projects as required.

The successful candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills, and first-rate administrative and organisational abilities. Good IT skills, including experience maintaining databases and websites, would be desirable.

This is a full time position for a degree-level candidate. As it is a small office, the position would best suit a flexible and motivated individual. An interest in the financial services industry and desire to engage with the topics would be advantageous.

This role provides an excellent opportunity for those wishing to gain experience and exposure to the financial services industry.
