As Strategic Planning and Performance Officer you will be responsible for developing and directing the strategy – the Police and Crime Plan. Managing performance across the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, scrutinising police performance and that of commissioned services, on behalf of the Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens, ensuring we remain alert to issues and threats within the policing and criminal justice landscape.

We’re looking for someone with excellent analytical skills and a track record of providing strategic advice to support complex decisions. You will be an excellent collaborator but one who is also prepared to provide challenge. You will develop relationships with Avon and Somerset Police and partner organisations to ensure strategies and performance are aligned. You will champion a culture that is open empowers innovation and on-going service development and performance improvement.
