WIG is an established not-for-profit organisation with a 35 year reputation of opening perspectives and creating connections. We are independent and neutral. All of our activities are underpinned by our charitable purpose: to build understanding and co-operation between the public, private and the not-for-profit sectors for the greater public good – a nation better governed, business better informed and society better served.

Through this, we run a range of events, most significantly relating to Policy and the sharing of best practice. Speakers are typically Senior Civil Servants, including Permanent Secretaries and Ambassadors. 

The successful individual will work across the organisation to help the events team deliver the annual programme of WIG events. This individual is a key point of contact for WIG members, the majority of whom engage through the events programme.

Reporting to the Head of Events, the role is a unique opportunity to take responsibility for the delivery of a diverse portfolio. The programme features senior speakers across topics such as Brexit, the Industrial Strategy, Digital & Technology and International Affairs.
