ROLE

Brunswick Insight is seeking to add an Executive to its London team. Although the person will be expected to support a broad range of research work, their primary focus will be on using digital analytics to generate client insights. Standard tasks will include media evaluation, influencer-mapping, social media analysis and audience analysis for clients in both the UK and abroad.

Core responsibilities

The succesful candidate would be expected to support the following research tasks:

• Capturing client needs and translating them into research briefs
• Advising on the selection of analytical tools and methodologies
• Gathering, cleaning and preparing data for analysis
• Analysing data to generate insights, using both specialist tools and manual approaches
• Communicating research findings to clients, in both writing and orally
• Using analytics to measure communications activity
• Promoting and supporting an insight-driven culture within the firm
• Ensuring our analytics capabilities remain market leading

Knowledge

The succesful candidate should have at least a basic understanding of the following:

• Financial and corporate communications, and the role data can play in decision-making
• The UK and international media landscape
• How key social media platforms work, and the role they play in shaping public opinion

Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Numerate with a basic understanding of statistical principles
• Proficient in using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
