The primary responsibility of the Senior Communications Executive is to help drive awareness levels of ukactive, generate significant policy and media impact and support us to achieve our strategic objectives as a business.

General duties
The Senior Communications Executive is responsible for supporting the planning, development and implementation of integrated ukactive member, partner and stakeholder communications activity to raise the profile of ukactive and the physical activity sector across a number of areas of interest.

Responsibilities include creating Public Affairs communications, consumer campaign communications and PR plans, stakeholder and member communications, as well as media monitoring.

In addition to this, the Senior Communications Executive will play a key role in developing media outreach, aiming to build meaningful connections with journalists and raise the profile of the brand within traditional media, as well as social, digital and other media.

The Senior Communications Executive will work closely with other members of the Marketing and Public Affairs teams to help develop value-adding content across a range of channels for members and other stakeholders, as well as supporting internal communications to ensure knowledge sharing and brand awareness across the organisation.
