Do you want to use your skills and experience to drive change to improve the lives of people with cancer in the UK? We are looking for an experienced and inspiring campaigner to lead Macmillan’s work with our thousands of supporters across the UK.

Reporting to the Head of Campaigns and Public Affairs, you will lead the Campaigns and Activism Team and will be responsible for building and mobilising a powerful base of supporters to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

This exciting role will ensure that we develop smart strategies and powerful, innovative tactics that help win campaigns. You will ensure that people affected by cancer have their voices heard.

You will deepen our engagement with existing supporters across the UK and develop a programme of campaigning activity to advance a range of Macmillan’s influencing priorities.

This role demands expert knowledge of campaigning methods and innovative digital campaigning tactics. You will have a strong track record in delivering integrated, innovative, high-profile and impactful mass engagement campaigns which influence policies and decision making.

A strong leader, you will have the ability to inspire and develop a team of technical specialists and expert campaigners. You will be a skilled communicator and will have a proven ability to work across multiple teams and build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.

Experience of line management essential.
