Seb Dance, Labour MEP for London, is seeking a caseworker to join his team at his office in Bermondsey on a part time basis.

This will initially be until 31 October 2019, depending on the progress of the UK’s planned withdrawal from the EU.

The main duties of the role will include:

• Drafting casework responses and responding to consituents on a wide range of issues, including the environment and climate change, consumer protection and human rights issues.
• Liaising with colleagues in the European Parliament, EU institutions and other agencies to progress cases on behalf of constituents in London
• Ensuring all cases are logged in line with GDPR, and that constituents are kept informed of progress

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated, with excellent written communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a small team, and an interest in UK and EU politics.

This role would suit those looking to earn a bit of extra money whilst looking to get valuable career experience in politics, for example someone in further or higher education.
