Location: London

Salary: London living wage

Job Details

NSN’s Delivery Team supports open and approved schools through a combination of grant-funded programmes and paid-for services.

Support for free school groups in pre-opening
Our Delivery Programme has been designed to address the challenges of the rigorous pre-opening process. While approved free school groups typically possess a wealth of relevant skills and expertise, very few have direct experience of the free schools process specifically. Our Delivery Programme has been designed to fill gaps in capacity and capability to prepare schools for a successful opening.

Our exclusive programme of advice, support and project management has been developed to comply with DfE/ESFA guidance and focuses on the areas that our experience shows will provide free schools with the most value in pre-opening.

Support for open free schools
NSN has supported open free schools since 2011 by providing advice, training and networking opportunities. Our dynamic and adaptable team has built a solid reputation for professionalism and expertise.

Our deep institutional knowledge is supplemented by a team of Associates – experienced specialists with strong track records supporting complex free school projects and growing MATs. Collectively, NSN’s Advisers and Associates have worked on over 500 free school projects to date – ranging from supporting groups in the pre-opening phase, to setting up and working in free schools.

NSN is looking to expand the support available to an ever-increasing number of free schools to share best practice both within and beyond our network of free schools.

The role

Interns are an invaluable part of our team and work across all areas, undertaking a range of tasks and responsibilities. You will be expected to work on a wide range of developing and established projects, some of which will be commercial in nature, and help to develop the support that NSN offers open and approved free schools.

You will be line-managed by an experienced Manager/(Senior) Adviser within the Delivery Team. The successful candidate would be joining a growing team who have joined the organisation from a variety of backgrounds.

Closing Date: 21 June 2019
