Are you the best person for this unique opportunity to work for the UK's National Commission for UNESCO (UKNC) on the Newton Prize, an international prestigious science and innovation prize being delivered on behalf of the UK Government?
As the Project Assistant you will be the administrator responsible for the smooth running of prize processes and delivering high quality service to prize applicants, academic reviewers and other stakeholders. This is a key support role to ensure the success of prize work and may also present the opportunity for administrative and event related support work on other UKNC activities.
For background, the Newton Fund is £735 million of Official Development Assistance that aims to foster the economic development of partner countries by supporting science and innovation partnerships with the UK. The Newton Prize is an annual £1 million award to celebrate the Newton Fund’s best science and/or innovation projects.
