For thirty years, Stonewall has been campaigning to improve the lives of lesbian, gay, bi and trans (LGBT) people. Join our team as senior policy officer and contribute to our highly successful policy influencing programme to make a real difference to the lives of LGBT people by extending rights within the Community.

As part of our policy team, you will be responsible for understanding the many different forms of inequality that affect the lives of LGBT people. The Policy team leads work with Parliament and Government to advance LGBT equality. Together we have made significant progress in improving the lives of LGBT people over the last few years.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skillset, get involved in making real policy changes and work with a range of influencers.

The successful candidate will have considerable experience of working in a policy or parliamentary environment. You will have excellent interpersonal skill in order to engage and influence a variety of audiences and key stakeholders. You must be highly organised with an ability to work to tight and changeable deadlines. You must have a strong commitment to the aims and values of our work.
