Redthread plays a high profile and meaningful role in the debate around a public health approach to tackling violence. We have achieved this through significant media coverage, government and stakeholder engagement, for example co-managing the secretariat of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on knife crime. To build on and accelerate this engagement, we are looking for an experienced communications professional with experience of managing a busy press office and with excellent knowledge of how to influence policy and make our voice heard. This is a varied and exciting role with opportunities to communicate a different narrative about vulnerable young people and to shape the policies that affect them.
