The Research and Policy Team is embedded within a wider Policy and Campaigns Directorate. We conduct research to help understand the issues faced by people confronting deafness, tinnitus and hearing loss; develop policies to help them live the life they choose; and provide evidence to inform the Directorate’s campaigning and public affairs work.

As Senor Research and Policy Officer you’ll be responsible for managing policy and research projects, reviewing and conducting research, and developing credible solutions for our beneficiaries under the guidance of the Head of Research and Policy.

The Team works across a varied range of policy areas, such as NHS services, social care, people’s experience of employment, and access to services. The role will focus on health and social care policy, but you may be asked to work across any of the aforementioned areas according to the needs of the Directorate and the Team. In order to support this policy development, the Team conducts both primary and secondary research, using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
