ABColombia is looking for a dynamic Information and Advocacy Officer to be part of the ABColombia team and provide support to the Programme and Advocacy Manager (PAM). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly effective organisation.

The ABColombia Group is a project of a coalition of five leading development agencies, CAFOD, Christian Aid UKI, Oxfam GB, SCIAF and Trócaire, which engages decision-makers in the UK and Irish governments, the European Union and United Nations to advance the protection of the civilian population in Colombia, support the voice of civil society, obtain lasting solutions to the humanitarian crisis, and promote a negotiated settlement to the armed conflict in country.

Activities of the Information and Advocacy Officer could include political analysis, writing briefings, managing events, managing social media, monitoring and evaluating communications activity and impact. You’ll need excellent organisational skills, experience of using social media, ability to research and analyse, fluency in English and Spanish, outstanding written and verbal communication skills and creativity.
