An exciting opportunity has arisen to organise Southwark Labour's campaigns, and build on Southwark Labour's successes in the 2018 local elections.
Southwark Labour Group is recruiting a Borough Organiser, who will be responsible for all aspects of Labour Party organisation within the London Borough of Southwark.
The post holder will be responsible for building and maintaining party organisation and activity; establishing an effective election and campaign organisation ahead of the 2020 Mayoral and GLA elections and the 2022 Borough Council elections working in liaison with the Southwark Labour Group, LCF, London Regional team, the London Assembly Member, local MPs, Labour Party officers, Constituency Labour Parties, Branches and other units within the Party.
Upon appointment you will be required to apply for security clearance, undertaken by the Security Vetting and Pass Office. See Members’ Staff Security Clearance page for further info. MPs generally pay staff in accordance with IPSA guidelines.
