Job Details

Are you a passionate ‘people person’ and a good writer too?

If that’s you, we could have just the job.

Cratus is looking for someone who can tick all of those boxes and shares our passion for all things local to fit right into our Communities team.

The job

Are you committed to community? As a Communities Executive, you will be working on housing developments as they are built, putting together communication and engagement strategies which keep local communities informed. More than that, you will be an ideas person who thinks of creative ways to engage with people, bringing them together to create new community events and initiatives.

About us

Our world is local. Cratus supports organisations who would like to work with the public sector and the communities it serves, from reviewing council services to supporting developers with planning applications. Our Communities team was established in 2017 to build and integrate new and existing communities once developers have planning permission in place.

Who’s right for the job?

A great communicator. An ambitious go-getter. Someone who is driven to go above and beyond for customers. On any given day, you will be communicating with a whole host of different people - from clients to politicians and residents - and you will be able to build relationships at every level, providing superb customer service at all times.

You must be well-organised and comfortable working on your own initiative. Although we work closely as a team, you will be responsible for managing your workload, putting together and delivering the comms and engagement strategies to guide your work while responding to customer demands as needed.

We have a work hard, play hard culture at Cratus. Because you will be working with the community, you will need to be prepared to work some evenings and weekends, but we can offer flexible working in return and we get together regularly as a team to celebrate our successes.

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to engage effectively with a wide range of people
  • Enthusiastic self-starter
  • Great team player
