Are you an experienced campaigner ready to take on a new challenge to campaign for the rights of disabled people across the UK and internationally?

This is an exciting time to join Leonard Cheshire as we realise a new forward-thinking strategy. The campaigns team now sits within a new integrated department that brings together research, policy and pioneering international programmes. In this role you’ll have an opportunity to work with these teams to develop plans to shape policy, practice and public perception on key areas that affect disabled people. You’ll help shape the future direction of Leonard Cheshire’s campaigns by developing innovative online and offline campaign activities and by helping to grow and nurture our supporter base.

About You

We’re looking for a creative campaigner with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You’ll have experience of developing communications across a range of channels that clearly communicate key messages and mobilise people to take action. Able to work with a range of stakeholders, you’ll have great interpersonal skills and be a team player.

An understanding of national and local political structures is useful. Experience of using specialist digital engagement software such as Campaignion, Engaging Networks, CMS and CRM systems is desirable.
