Job Title: National and Regional Engagement Lead (FTC to May 2020)
Working For: Financial Conduct Authority
We are looking for a creative, resourceful and organised individual to lead our flagship regional engagement programme, which provides direct support to members of our Executive Committee (ExCo) on their visits around the UK.
This key programme was established two years ago to provide our ExCo members and Chair with high quality insight into the experience of financial services through the eyes of local firms, consumer groups, politicians, academics, and other key influencers across the UK. It is crucial to maintaining a good organisational understanding of relevant issues across the devolved nations and English regions.
The role sits within the Strategic and Stakeholder Communications team, which is part of our Strategic Communications Unit. We take a longer-term view of communications across priority issues to ensure we’re joined up and making the most of opportunities.
We are responsible for:
- supporting our Executive Directors and Chairman with their individual communications planning, speeches, and national engagement programmethe
- FCA’s strategic communications planning and speaker request process
Closing Date: 26 August 2019
Competency based telephone interviews expected to take place on the 30th August.
Second round face to face competency based interviews will take place between the 3rd-6th September
The successful candidate will need to be in post by the end of September.
