The Health Foundation is an independent charity committed to bringing about better health and health care for people in the UK.

The External Affairs Officer will support the external affairs team in effectively delivering high quality public affairs, stakeholder relations, media, and integrated communications activity. You will build strong and productive relationships with stakeholders, manage monitoring of the UK politics and health policy landscape, and co-ordinate the Health Foundation’s response to policy consultations.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of UK politics, policy making, health care and public health policy. You will be able to work in with colleagues and partners to ensure delivery of our objectives and have the drive and enthusiasm to deliver and meet deadlines whilst working under pressure. Equally important will be a high standard of written work, attention to detail and the ability to assess complex information and present it clearly to a variety of audiences.
