African Child Trust (ACT) is a small UK registered Christian charity established with a mission to relieve and alleviate poverty of widows, orphans and other vulnerable children in Africa. At ACT we are passionate about changing lives and giving opportunities to less privilege children and needy widows to achieve their potential in life. ACT is currently working in 8 countries of Africa. We are based in Croydon close to the main stations (5 minutes from West Croydon and 10 minutes from East Croydon). We are looking for an outgoing and self-motivated individual to join our team. The role is ideal for a Graduate wanting to gain experience in international development and the charity sector. Ideally should possess excellent writing and communication skills and good understanding of social media practices and strategies. You should also be able to carry out some basic research.

Duties for this Voluntary role would be:

  • Researching/contributing ideas for blogs and writing if this is a passion
  • Updating our social media and researching ideas for articles

This position will be based at our Croydon offices

Please note this position is voluntary and therefore hours/days are flexible
